Cynthia Paris is dedicated to helping individuals and groups rediscover joy, connection, and meaningful stress relief. With over 30 years of experience in the helping professions, she blends her background in Experiential Therapy, Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness to create uplifting experiences that are both playful and deeply restorative.
As the Director of Team COA, formerly a division of Rogers Behavioral Health and now an independent organization, Cynthia specializes in leading programs that bring connection, creativity and well being to workplaces, conferences, senior communities. Cynthia and her team are known for work with adult and youth groups of all kinds in the teamwork, emotional intelligence and mental health industry.
Trained by Dr. Madan Kataria, Cynthia is also the Founder of Laughter Yoga USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This organization is the first of its kind worldwide.
Run entirely by volunteers, goals include supporting Laughter Yoga professionals with tools needed to increase their skills and presence in their own communities. Providing conferences, gatherings and online events to connect with other professionals too. Spreading the concept of LY to potential participants and underserved communities is another area of focus as well.
